I am pleased to announce that I have developed a new Community-Based Social Marketing seminar, and will begin teaching it this week. The first session is fully subscribed, and will be held July 28 & 29, 2011 in Newmarket, Ontario. The audience is a group of representatives from different provincial government departments and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority.
The new seminar, titled CBSM 2.0 – Beyond Theory to Implementation, has been developed after receiving many requests from people who said they understood the theory behind CBSM but were unsure of how to proceed with developing a campaign. With encouragement and suggestions from many of our clients across Canada, I spent the past several months developing the curriculum. You can find out more about the seminar by reading the description. The next seminar will be held in Langley, BC in September (http://events NULL.constantcontact NULL.com/register/event?llr=p6fsecgab&oeidk=a07e4e57u09d7ad3f84) and registration is open now. There will be one in Glasgow, Scotland in October, and then there are plans to have more in Southern Ontario and Halifax between now and January. More details will be coming soon on those, and plans are in the works for other Canadian provinces.
